How to activate telnet

Hi users this is very helpful, because sometimes we are unable to telnet to one machine to another machine. Please follow the below steps

 

Step-1 

Open the Start Menu.

 

Step-2

 Go to Control Panel.

 

Step-3  

 Click "Programs."

 

Step-4 

Under "Programs and Features" click "Turn Windows Features on and off".

 

Step-5

Click Yes in the User Account Control window that may pop up depending on your settings

 

Step-6

Wait a few minutes while Windows compiles the list. 

 

Step-7

When the list appears, check the box next to the folder named "Telnet Client" and click OK.

 

Step-8 

Wait a few minutes while Windows applies the settings.
